Why art?

Creativity is an integral part of the psychotherapy process. In the Gestalt approach, it manifests not only through artistic or expressive methods but also through the contact itself, presence, experimentation, and the emergence of new experiences in a living dialogue between the therapist and the client.

Conference "Art in Psychotherapy, Psychotherapy of Art" is a space to explore:
– how creativity supports the therapeutic process,
– how psychotherapy becomes a place for creating new experiences and meanings,
– how a therapist can rely on their professional and human creativity.

The conference will take place in a hybrid format:
on-site program — in Jurmala,
online program — on the Zoom platform.
Participation is possible from any country.
During the conference, simultaneous interpretation will be provided: from Russian to Latvian,
from Latvian to Russian.

This conference is an opportunity to meet, think together, share experiences, get inspired, and broaden your professional perspective on psychotherapy as a living, creative, and evolving process.

We invite you to participate:
practicing psychotherapists and psychologists,
